INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Two members of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team joined head coach Rusty Loyd in an outreach project to help the Samaritan's Feet organization on Thursday.

Eli Combs and Trey Sykes joined men's basketball players from the other nine Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference institutions to help distribute new shoes to those in need during the outreach event.  This marks the fourth year that HCAC institutions have partnered with Samaritan's Feet in football and/or men's basketball.

Samaritan's Feet is a non-profit organization founded by Manny Ohonme in 2003. Their mission is to equip ten million impoverished children with ten million shoes in ten years. Since beginning in 2003, Samaritan's Feet has helped over 6.5 million people in 60 countries.
