TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team opens the 2015-16 season at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
The Fightin' Engineers return to the links for the first time since a fall season highlighted by a fourth-place finish at Ohio Wesleyan and a convincing dual win over Wabash. Warren Whithaus earned Medalist honors at Ohio Wesleyan, while Sanders Park led the starting lineup with a scoring average of 75.50 strokes per round.
Rose-Hulman will compete in 18 holes on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. and 18 holes beginning Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at Aston Oaks Golf Course in North Bend, Ohio. After this weekend's event, Rose-Hulman returns home for two events next week. The team will face Wabash on Wednesday in a dual match, and host its own Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
