SEYMOUR, Ind -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed fifth at the 10-team Hanover College Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at Shadowood Golf Course.
Junior Sam Pastoriza came home seventh to lead the Fightin' Engineers with a two-day score of 155. Pastoriza fired rounds of 79 and 76 in the performance.
Senior Sanders Park finished 15th with two rounds of 79. Warren Whithaus and Luke Peoples tied for 35th with identical rounds of 84 and 80, and junior Es Wittayakom fired totals of 81 and 86 to round out the team score.
Northwestern Ohio won the 10-team event, with Davenport, Mount St. Joseph, Franklin and Rose-Hulman rounding out the top five.
The Fightin' Engineers return to action at the Manchester University Invitational next Saturday and Sunday.
