Men's Golf Begins Season at Transylvania

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team opened their season at the Transylvania Invitational on Labor Day Weekend at the University Club of Kentucky.

Brady Vaughan led the way for Rose-Hulman by placing 29th overall out of 90 competitors.  Vaughan fired rounds of 73, 78 and 75.

Sam Pastoriza came home second among Rose-Hulman golfers with rounds of 79, 76 and 77.  Warren Whithaus finished next among Engineers with rounds of 81, 80 and 82.  

Luke Peoples pitched in with rounds of 90, 83 and 82, and Garrett Manship completed the scores with 92, 90 and 90.

The Fightin' Engineers return to action at the Vincennes University Invitational next weekend.
