TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team hits the road for the Vincennes University Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
The Fightin' Engineers compete at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday in the event. Rose-Hulman will also compete in the Little Giant-Engineer Cup Match next Wednesday.
The team began its 2016-17 campaign last weekend at Transylvania University. Brady Vaughan led the scoring with a 29th place finish and scores of 73, 78 and 75. Sam Pastoriza came home second among Rose-Hulman golfers with rounds of 79, 76 and 77. Warren Whithaus finished next among Engineers with rounds of 81, 80 and 82.
After this weekend's event, Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Little Giant-Engineer Cup math on Wednesday in Crawfordsville.
