Men's Golf Comes Home 4th at Vincennes


MONTGOMERY, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology finished fourth of nine teams at the Vincennes University Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at Country Oaks Golf Course.

Senior Sam Pastoriza and senior Warren Whithaus led the Rose-Hulman performance with two rounds in the 70s each.  Pastoriza came home eighth with rounds of 79 and 73.  Whithaus finished 14th with scores of 77 and 79.

Sophomore Brady Vaughan came home third among Engineers with rounds of 84 and 77.  Senior Luke Peoples carded rounds of 84 and 78 to help bolster the fourth-place team score of 631.

Other competitors included Garrett Manship with rounds of 81 and 83; Andrew Rhine with scores of 88 and 78; Cole Bechtold with scores of 85 and 83; and Brennan Santaniello with rounds of 85 and 87.  

Rose-Hulman returns to the course on Wednesday for the Little Giant-Engineer Classic in Crawfordsville.
