GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team has found its scorer. Sophomore Ben Lyon, the top returning goal scorer from a season ago, found the net once again propelling Rose-Hulman to a 1-0 victory at Greenville Wednesday night.

The Westfield, Ind. native received a pass from sophomore Alex Jansen inside the 18-yard box. After one quick move, Lyon's shot ricocheted off of a Panther defender finding the back of the net for his third goal of the season.

As a team, the Fightin' Engineers fired 11 shots in the contest compared to four for Greenville. Rose-Hulman also took a season-high 13 corner kicks.

Senior goalkeeper Drew Miller earned his 25th career shutout while recording one save in the game.

The Engineers have yet to surrender a goal this season outscoring their opponents 3-0 over three games.

Rose-Hulman's next two contests are on the road at Millikin on Sept. 6 and at Principia on Sept. 11.
