TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Turner Perkins and junior Austin Webb captured spots on the CoSIDA NCAA Division III Academic All-District VII Men's Soccer Team, in results released today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Perkins and Webb will advance to the NCAA Division III Academic All-America ballot, with the national team scheduled for release on Friday Nov. 18.
Perkins is a two-time all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference selection, including first-team honors in 2015. He also captured second-team NSCAA all-region honors in 2015. His career statistics include 60 games started with eight goals and 17 points.
In the classroom, the mechanical engineering major carries a 3.91 grade point average. He is a Dean's List honoree and a member of the Triangle fraternity.
Webb is also a two-time all-HCAC honoree, with first-team honors in 2015. He has appeared in 60 games with 59 starts, 21 goals, eight assists and 50 points. Webb has tallied nine goals and 21 points so far this season.
In the classroom, the mechanical engineering major carries a 3.67 grade point average. He is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor fraternity and serves as House Manager for Triangle fraternity.
Rose-Hulman stands 12-5 overall and 8-0 in HCAC play entering Saturday's regular season finale at Hanover. The Fightin' Engineers have secured at least a share of the HCAC title and a home game in next week's league tournament to be held Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
