TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior goalkeeper Carter Wright picked up another honor on Thursday afternoon as he was selected to the CoSIDA NCAA Division III Academic All-District VII Men's Soccer Team, in results released by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Wright will advance to the NCAA Division III Academic All-America ballot, with the national team scheduled for release on Tuesday December 5th.
Wright was named to the All-HCAC 1st-team on Thursday as well. The Altoona, Iowa native appeared in 13 games in 2017 and allowed just nine goals. He collected 44 saves this year and finished third in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with an .830 save percentage. His goals-against average of 0.72 ranked fourth in the league.
Wright, a Chemical Engineering major, owns a 3.84 GPA. For his career, Wright collected 141 saves and has posted a record of 22-8-8. Carter owns a career save percentage of .844 and a career goals-against average of 0.65.
