TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 8-3 on the men's tennis season with a 9-0 conference win over Franklin College and an 8-1 win over Manchester University on Saturday at the Wabash Valley Tennis Center.
Rose-Hulman increased its winning streak to seven matches in a row with Saturday's victories.
Against Franklin, Rose-Hulman started the day with a sweep of three doubles matches. Winners included Georges Adam and Brandon Benedict at No. 1; Andre Adam and Cam Metzger at No. 2; and Joe Kendall and Brendan Goldacker at No. 3 to propel the victory.
Against Manchester, the Fightin' Engineers swept the doubles matches. Winners included Georges Adam and Brandon Benedict at No. 1; Andre Adam and Cam Metzger at No. 2; and Joe Kendall and Andrew Schiffman at No. 3 to lead the Engineers.
In singles play, Georges Adam, Benedict, Metzger, Andre Adam, and Goldacker all earned wins to solidify the victory.
The Fightin' Engineers will face off against Trine University on Saturday afternoon at home at 3 p.m.
