Men's Tennis Team Earns ITA Academic Honors

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team earned several honors and was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team on Friday.

Rose-Hulman was honored with ITA All-Academic Team standards after the team achieved an overall grade point average of above 3.20 last year.

Individually, four players received ITA All-Academic Awards after compiling over a 3.50 grade point average over the 2015-16 academic year.  Individual award winners included Georges Adam, Matt Conrad, Brendan Goldacker and Joe Kendall.

Rose-Hulman qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the second consecutive year and finished 20-9 overall for the first 20-win season in program history.  The Fightin' Engineers return five of the top six players from last year's team in 2017.
