Men's Cross Country to Compete at NCAA Regional

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will compete in the eight-kilometer NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional on Saturday at Powell, Ohio.

RHIT NEWS & NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman won its third Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship in the last four years, winning the event with 52 points.
* The Fightin' Engineers outdistanced Hanover (75 points) and Earlham (78) to win the HCAC Championship.
* Geoff Wayton was named HCAC Coach of the Year for his efforts.
* Alton Anspaugh (6th place), Kennedy Schnieders (9th), Walt Dearing (11th) and Matthew Stevenot (12th) earned all-HCAC honors.
* Honorable mention all-conference perfomers included Chandler Harkins (14th place), Ben Hall (15th) and Evan Ammidown (17th).
* Rose-Hulman won the Indiana Little State Championship for the first time in program history earlier this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers also won a four-team meet at the John McNichols Invitational.
