Men's Cross Country Places 12th at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

POWELL, Ohio -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team came home 12th of 36 teams at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional, held Saturday morning in Powell, Ohio.

Alton Anspaugh led the Fightin' Engineer performance with a 53rd place of over 240 runners with a time of 26:46.  Chandler Harkins came home second among Engineers and 66th overall in 27:01, followed closely by Walt Dearing in 75th with a time of 27:05.

The seven competitors also included Ben Hall and Matthew Stevenot in 79th and 80th with a time of 27:08; Kennedy Schnieders with a time of 27:24; and Evan Ammidown with a time of 27:47.

The NCAA Division III draws a curtain to the end of a strong Rose-Hulman men's cross country season, highlighted by the 2017 HCAC team championship and the program's first Indiana Little State Championship in program history.
