TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned All-Academic honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, in results released today.
Five individuals also received honors from the CSCAA. Orion Martin and Ellie Hong captured first-team Individual Scholar All-America honors for having a grade point average higher than 3.50 grade point average for the year and competing in the NCAA Division III National Championships.
Regen Foote, Sam Gould and Avery Krovetz earned honorable mention Scholar All-America recognition for having a higher than 3.50 grade point average and provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships.
The men's swimming and diving team combined for a 3.36 team grade point average this season, and the women's squad compiled a grade point average of 3.30 to earn Scholar All-Academic Team recognition.
Rose-Hulman begins the 2016-17 swimming and diving season at the Indiana Division III Invitational at Wabash College on Oct. 15.
