TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology juniors Josh Himes and Jaclyn Setina swept Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week awards for their efforts in last weekend's Friday Night Invitational.
Himes swept the two men's throwing event titles, winning in both the weight throw (54' 7 1/4") and the shot put (50' 9 1/4"). His weight throw ranks No. 2 in Rose-Hulman school history. Himes has won one HCAC individual title in his career and ranks in Rose-Hulman's all-time top-five in the weight throw indoors and the discus throw outdoors.
Setina won the women's high jump on Friday night, clearing 5' 6". The mark ranks No. 5 in all of NCAA Division III so far this season and stands No. 2 in school history behind only five-time national champion and eight-time All-American Liz Evans. Setina has won two HCAC high jump titles and was a member of the 2015 indoor 4-x-400 meter conference champions so far in her career.
Rose-Hulman returns to home action for the third straight week this Saturday, hosting the Engineer Invitational at the Sports and Recreation Center.
