TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology standout Gabi Razma captured NCAA Division III All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom and in the triple jump during the 2017 track and field season.
Razma captured the honor by earning a grade point average higher than 3.30 and finishing in the national top 50 in an individual event. She completed the season ranked No. 40 in the NCAA Division III outdoor triple jump (37' 5 1/4") and No. 43 in the indoor triple jump (36' 9 3/4").
In the classroom, Razma earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team after entering the spring season with a 3.96 grade point average as a biomedical engineering major.
Razma has earned nine HCAC individual or relay championships in her career and placed in 25 conference events. She is a four-time HCAC triple jump champion, including a sweep of the 2017 indoor and outdoor conference titles. She was also a member of the 2017 conference championship 4-x-200 meter relay team and is a three-time all-region triple jumper. Her career awards include winning the 2015 HCAC Outdoor Track and Field Freshman of the Year and 2014 HCAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year awards.
