RHIT Looks to Defend Home Court vs. Birmingham-Southern on Tuesday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Fightin' Engineers will play a non-conference game on Tuesday December 12 when Rose-Hulman hosts the Birmingham-Southern College Panthers at 7 p.m. in Hulbert Arena.

Rose-Hulman News & Notes:

* Rose-Hulman is on a three-game winning streak heading into Tuesday's contest. 
* The Fightin' Engineers are 6-3, 3-0 HCAC.
* Rose-Hulman made a statement on Saturday December 9 with a huge HCAC road win at Transy.  The Pioneers were selected as the HCAC preseason favorites, while Rose-Hulman was tabbed to finish second in the preseason coaches poll.  Rose was led by Alyzia Dilworth's 21 points.
* Junior forward Ally Bromenschenkel leads the team in both scoring and rebounding with 15.2 ppg and 7.8 rpg.  
* RHIT has won 27 straight games at Hulbert Arena, the longest home winning streak in NCAA Division III women's basketball.

Birmingham-Southern News & Notes:

* BSC is 3-2 this year and the Panthers are members of the Southern Athletic Association. 
* Birmingham-Southern has solid wins over Covenant, Roanoke, and Emory.
* Emilee Olsen leads the team in both scoring and rebounding with 17.0 ppg, and 7.6 rpg.
* Head coach Mike Ricks is in his third season at the helm of the BSC women's basketball program.
