Three Top 10s Lead RHIT to 2nd at Franklin Invite

FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed three players in the top 10 to finish second in team scoring at the Franklin Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Hillview Country Club.

Rebecca Su came home fourth overall with rounds of 79 and 80.  Ashton Foushee added scores of 79 and 82 to finish sixth individually, and Namuunaa Nadmid placed eighth with rounds of 85 and 80.

Taylor King also pitched in a 13th place finish with rounds of 86 and 88.  Other Rose-Hulman competitors included Emily Smith with rounds of 92 and 95; and Ashley Braaksma with scores of 98 and 95.

Marian won the tournament and had the top two finishers with two-day scores of 153.  The Fightin' Engineers conclude their spring season at the Transylvania Invitational next Saturday.
