Rose-Hulman Women's Soccer Hosts Westminster (Mo.) Sunday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Rose-Hulman women's soccer team will return to Intramural Field on Sunday September 24, when the team hosts Westminster (Mo.) at 1 PM.



Rose-Hulman News & Notes

* The Fightin' Engineers are currently 2-6 on the season.
* Rose-Hulman has played two nationally-ranked opponents this season in Thomas More and Washington (Mo.).
* Jessica Wells and Maddy Twetten lead the squad with three goals apiece.  Wells was named HCAC Offensive Player of the Week after recording her first career hat trick in a 7-1 win over Principia last week.  
* RHIT is 1-0 all-time against the Blue Jays.  Rose defeated Westminster in 2016 by a final score of 2-0. 

The Opposition: Westminster College Blue Jays (3-2)

* Westminster will play at Franklin on Friday night before coming to Terre Haute on Sunday. 
* The Blue Jays have won three out of their last four matches. 
* Paige Townsend leads the team with seven goals, two assists, and 16 points.   
* Nine different players have scored at least one goal for WC, and six different players have score two or more goals.
