Women's Tennis Shuts Out Earlham, Moves to 9-2

RICHMOND, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on a strong team effort to defeat Earlham College 9-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis action on Saturday afternoon.

Singles winners included Anna Thompson at the No. 1 position; Bella Evans at No. 2; Naomi Bhagat at No. 3; Sydney Short at No. 4; Becca Stanley at No. 5; and Beata Barati at No. 6.

In doubles play, Fightin' Engineers winners included Evans and Linde Schaffer at No. 1; Short and Lauren Edwards at No. 2; and Stanley and Kyla Jarvis at No. 3.

Rose-Hulman improved to 9-2 on the year and concludes the regular season with a noon home matchup against Kentucky Wesleyan on Sunday at noon.
