TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team will return to action on Sunday April 23 after a lengthy break from competition. The 2016 HCAC Tournament Champions will play at Franklin at Noon.
The women play the majoirty of their competitive season during the fall months. Rose-Hulman clinched a berth to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament this past Octboer with a thrilling 5-4 victory over Hanover College. With the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament slated to begin in May, the Fightin' Engineers are playing a few matches in the spring to fine tune their swings for the upcoming tournament.
The Fightin' Engineers traveled to Principia College back on February 4 and defeated the Panthers 5-4. Rose-Hulman knocked off Franklin in both matchups in the fall by final scores of 8-1 and 5-2.
Rose will carry an overall record of 13-2 into Sunday's match.
