FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Franklin College improved to 6-0 on the season with a 6-3 victory over previously unbeaten Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday night.

The Grizzlies remained undefeated in large part by sweeping the three doubles matches.  Rose-Hulman winners included Naomi Bhagat in three sets at No. 3 singles, Fanny-Jane Banda in straight sets at No. 4 singles, and Linde Schaffer in straight sets at No. 6 singles.

The tightly contested matchup took more than 4.5 hours to complete.

Rose-Hulman stands 3-1 on the season and 1-1 in league play, heading into Saturday's contest at Hanover.  The team will return home on Sunday to face Transylvania in a fan event match sponsored by The Herd, including a canned food drive and free visors for 100 students.
