TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Gabi Razma has been named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts during last weekend's Fightin' Engineer Invitational.
Razma helped Rose-Hulman finish 3-1 overall and improve to 6-2 on the season with a strong weekend performance. She recorded 75 digs (5.36 per set) to lead the team defense and also contributed five service aces.
Razma enters this week tied for Rose-Hulman's career school record in digs with 2,135 as a four-year starter and three-year all-conference selection.
Rose-Hulman stands 6-2 overall entering Tuesday's crosstown match at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Match time is set for 7 pm.
