Volleyball Improves to 9-5 with Straight Set Win Over Greenville

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 9-5 on the volleyball season with a 25-23, 25-12, 25-18 victory over Greenville College on Tuesday night at Hulbert Arena.

Bailey MacInnis led the offensive attack with 15 kills.  Grace Beach added 13 kills with a .688 hitting percentage and was team co-leader with two service aces.  Mackenzie Gossard and Katie Orbeta pitched in with two service aces each.

Orbeta led the assist effort with 24, and Alison Rogozinski reached double figures with 13.  Gabi Razma had a team-high 22 digs and was joined in double figures by Orebta with 10.  Mia Styczynski led the blocking attack with one solo block and two assists, while Marissa Gollnick contributed eight kills and two block assists to the balanced attack.

Allyson Mitchell led the Greenville performance with 10 kills.  Abby Quirin added 16 assists and 12 digs for the Panthers.

The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational.
