Razma Named Honorable Mention All-Great Lakes Region

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – It's been a banner couple of days and a banner career for Rose-Hulman senior Gabi Razma.  On Wednesday, Razma was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year.  On Thursday, she added another honor as she was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region Honorable Mention Team.  Razma is the first player in program history to earn recognition from the AVCA.

Razma caps her career as a four-time first-team all-HCAC selection and a two-time HCAC Defensive Most Valuable Player.  She captured Defensive Player of the Year honors as a freshman in 2014 and as a senior in 2017.

Razma is ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division III in digs (662) and No. 14 in digs per set (5.91) this season.  She holds the Rose-Hulman single-game (46) and career (2,655) school records for digs and is also a nine-time event champion in track and field.  Razma has been a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in both volleyball and track.

Rose-Hulman finished 20-12 overall and reached the HCAC Tournament Championship Match for the first time since 2011 this season.
