Women's Cross Country 7th at Intercollegiates

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's cross country team came home seventh of 13 teams in the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships, hosted by Indiana University on Friday afternoon.

Freshman Mary Petersen led the Rose-Hulman performance with a 15th place finish in a five-kilometer time of 20:45.  Junior Camille Blaisdell came home second among Engineers and 28th overall with a mark of 21:25.

Other contributors to the team score included sophomore Kally Morozin in 31st with a mark of 21:34; junior Emma Ross in 44th with a time of 21:56; and senior Emilie Hobbs in 47th with a time of 21:58.

The Fightin' Engineers return to action by hosting the Rose-Hulman/DePauw Invitational next Friday at the Lavern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute.
