Women's Cross Country Places in Top Half at Oberlin

OBERLIN, Ohio -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed in the top half of one of the nation's most competitive NCAA Division III women's cross country events, the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, on Saturday morning.

The Fightin' Engineers came home 14th out of 29 teams from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.  Kally Morozin led the Fightin' Engineers with a six-kilometer time of 23:25 to finish 34th out of 240 runners.  Camille Blaisdell came home 45th in 23:34.

Other runners completing the Rose-Hulman team score included Emma Ross in 89th (24:17); Rachel Shubella in 98th (24:32); and Alexa Kovacs in 113th (24:45).

Other Fightin' Engineer competitors included Mary Petersen (24:47); Annelise Cassidy (25:06); Anne Boxeth (25:34) and Sarozjani Hunter (25:59).

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday Oct. 28 hosted by Manchester.
