INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team will advance to the HCAC Championship Match after winning their semifinal against Franklin College 5-2 on Saturday.

Anna Thompson and Naomi Bhagat won at #1 doubles 8-2.  The duo of Bella Evans and Linde Schaffer clinched an 8-0 win at #2 doubles.  

On the singles side, Thompson won her #1 singles match 6-2, 6-1.  Evans and Bhagat won their matches at #2 and #3 singles 6-0, 6-2 and 7-5, 6-1 respectively.  

With the win, the women will advance to the HCAC Championship match against the Hanover Panthers.  Hanover, the #1 seed, defeated Manchester 5-0 on Saturday.

The Championship Match will begin Sunday October 16 at 10 a.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.
