COMPLETE RESULTS
VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology earned a men's victory over NCAA Division I Valparaiso, and the men's and women's squads combined for 11 first-place performances on Friday night in Northwest Indiana.
The men's squad earned a 147.5-114.5 win over Valparaiso, while the hosts won the women's scoring by a 166-66 margin.
Pierce Bartine, Cam Gill and Ellie Hong combined for seven individual victories to lead the men's and women's performance. Bartine won the men's 50-freestyle (21.90), 100-butterfly (51.92) and 100-individual medley (54.28). Gill captured the men's 100-backstroke (53.82) and 100-freestyle (48.33). Hong won the women's 100-freestyle (55.49) and 200-freestyle (2:02.76) events.
Other individual winners for the men's squad included Nick Samra in the 100-breaststroke (1:03.55) and Garrett Beauprez in the 200-backstroke (2:02.15).
Rose-Hulman also swept top honors in two men's relay events. The 200-medley team of Gill, Samra, Bartine and Tyler Sariscsany won in 1:39.47. The 200-freestyle team of Gill, Sariscsany, Sean Gish and Nate Weber had a winning time of 1:27.76.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Transylvania Invitational, at the University of Kentucky Natatorium, on Dec. 3-4.
