TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior divers Regen Foote and Sam Gould competed at the NCAA Division III Regional 1 Qualifier on Friday and Saturday.
Gould placed 14th in three-meter diving with a score of 405.75 points. He also earned a top-20 finish in one-meter with 359.60 points.
Foote came home 24th in three-meter diving with 292.40 points and placed 25th in one-meter with 353.90 points.
Foote and Gould both won the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin three-meter diving titles as part of their historic careers earlier this month.
Foote completes the most decorated women's diving career in Rose-Hulman history with seven all-conference performances, including her first career CCIW title on the three-meter board in 2016. Foote won the three-meter title with 371.45 points and earned another all-conference performance with 401.90 points on the one-meter board.
Gould completed his CCIW career with school records of eight all-conference performances, six conference championships and a career four-year sweep of three-meter championships after earning this year's title. Gould claimed his fourth CCIW three-meter championship with a total of 420.45 points. He also placed third in one-meter diving for all-league accolades after scoring 393.50 points.
The NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Nationals are scheduled for March 16-19. Junior Ellie Hong and senior Orion Martin qualified after their nationally ranked performances earlier this season.
