COMPLETE RESULTS
DELAWARE, Ohio -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's and women's track and field teams combined for eight top-five finishes at the All-Great Lakes Elite Meet on Thursday at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Both the men's and women's squads recorded four top-five efforts. Freshman Trey Sykes topped his season best performance by over three inches with a mark of 48' 3 1/2" that ranks second in Rose-Hulman history and fourth nationally in NCAA Division III this season.
Sophomore Josh Hennig added a runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash with a mark of 49.32 seconds. Other men's top-five performers included junior Adam Wilson in the 200-meter dash (22.79 seconds) and sophomore Josh Himes in the discus (153' 7").
On the women's side, freshman Debie Gedeon and sophomore Jaclyn Setina had third-place performances. Gedeon completed the 100-meter hurdles in 14.59 seconds, and Setina cleared 5' 2 1/2" in the high jump.
Other top-five finishers included triple jumpers Lindsey Fagerberg (33' 10 1/4") and Gabi Razma (33' 2").
Rose-Hulman will await official word on which student-athletes will compete in the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships next week. The official field is released on Saturday.
