TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's and women's track and field teams return home for the Friday Night Invitational this weekend at the Sports & Recreation Center.

Field events begin at 6 p.m., with running event finals set for 7 p.m.  The meet includes Rose-Hulman, DePauw, Earlham, Franklin, Hanover, St. Norbert and Campbellsville.

The Fightin' Engineers opened the season at last weekend's Terre Haute Double Dual with Manchester, Indiana State and Illinois State.  Rose-Hulman won 14 men's and 10 women's events, led by multiple-event winners Josh Himes and Lauren London.

Isaiah Smith was also named HCAC Men's Runner of the Week for his efforts in multiple events.  Smith won the 200-meter dash, came home second in the 60-meters and long jump, and was part of the winning 4-x-200 meter relay team.

After this weekend's action, Rose-Hulman returns home for the Engineer Invitational on Sat. Jan. 28.  The largest meet of the season will also represent Rose-Hulman's Senior Day.
