COMPLETE RESULTS
FRANKLIN, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's and women's swimming and diving teams combined for six wins in a dual meet matchup against Franklin College on Friday night.
Senior Pierce Bartine led the Fightin' Engineers with two event wins. Bartine captured the 50-freestyle in 22.30 seconds and won the 100-butterfly in 52.09 seconds.
Other individual winners included Cam Gill in the men's 200-freestyle (1:45.96); Ellie Hong in the women's 100-backstroke (1:00.45); and Michaela Kivett with an 11-dive one-meter total of 344.30 points.
The men's 400-freestyle relay completed the meet with a win in the night's last event. Bartine, Gill, Tyler Sariscsany and Nate Weber claimed first place in a time of 3:11.81.
Rose-Hulman returns to action in the upcoming College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships. The diving teams will compete at Illinois Wesleyan on Feb. 3-4, while the swimming championships are set for Pleasant Prairie, Wis., on Feb. 9-11.
