DECATUR, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won at the top three singles spots and at No. 3 doubles in a narrow 5-4 loss at Millikin University on Wednesday night.

The No. 3 doubles team of Beata Barati and Krista Manche picked up an 8-3 victory at the No. 3 spot to give the Fightin' Engineers their first point of the day.

In singles play, Rose-Hulman's No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles players picked up straight-set wins.  Naomi Bhagat won at No. 1; Anna Thompson earned the victory at No. 2; and Fanny-Jane Banda won at the No. 3 position.

Rose-Hulman stands 4-4 on the season and returns to action at Anderson University on Thursday afternoon.  Anderson has a 5-4 record on the season and is 4-2 in league play, while Rose-Hulman has a 4-3 conference mark.
