ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team opened its spring trip with an 8-1 loss to Oglethorpe University on Saturday in Atlanta.

Senior Bella Evans picked up Rose-Hulman's victory on the day, winning a 6-2, 6-1 decision at the No. 3 singles flight.

Rose-Hulman (11-4) returns to action on Monday at 9 a.m. with a matchup against Davenport University at the USTA National Tennis Center.
