TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 8-1 against NCAA Division III competition with 9-0 victories over Greenville and Illinois Tech at the Wabash Valley Tennis Center on Saturday.
Rose-Hulman knocked Greenville College from the unbeaten ranks with their victory in the opener, dropping the Panthers to 12-1 on the season.
Against both squads, doubles winners included Ian Landwehr and Andre Adam at the No. 1 position; Andrew Schiffman and Austin Perry at the No. 2 flight; and Grant Stamper with Ben Strate at the No. 3 position.
In singles play, winners included Landwehr, Adam, Schiffman, Perry, Strate and Stamper at the six singles flights.
Rose-Hulman will host Wabash College on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in another indoor match at the Wabash Valley Tennis Center. The Fightin' Engineers are 8-6 overall, while Greenville stands 13-1 after defeating Illinois Tech 5-4 later Saturday. Illinois Tech has an overall mark of 8-9.
