Landwehr Win Highlights RHIT Performance vs. #18 Case Western Reserve

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- No. 18 ranked Case Western Reserve University relied on its depth to pick up 8-1 and 5-0 men's tennis victories over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday at the Kalamazoo College Invitational.

In the opener, sophomore Ian Landwehr picked up a victory over a regionally ranked player at No. 1 singles to highlight the Rose-Hulman performance.  Landwehr won a third-set tiebreak to capture the match victory.

Rose-Hulman stands 12-9 overall and 12-4 against NCAA Division III opposition.  The Fightin' Engineers return to action next weekend at home against Mount St. Joseph and Oakland City in a doubleheader.
