Eric Fiacable School Record Leads Effort at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Eric Fiacable set a school record in the hammer throw to lead five top-six finishes at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet at Baldwin Wallace on Friday.

Fiacable recorded the No. 12 ranked hammer throw mark in NCAA Division III this season with his school record performance of 186' 9".

Jaclyn Setina matched a season-best mark in the women's high jump with a leap of 5' 5 1/4".  Five-time NCAA Division III national champion and Rose-Hulman graduate Liz Evans, competing unattached in the women's high jump, took home first place honors with a mark of 5' 9 1/4".

Josh Hennig brought home two top-six finishes with marks of 22.61 seconds in the 200-meter dash (5th) and 49.25 seconds in the 400-meter dash (6th).

Nathan Schrader contributed a top-five in the javelin with a mark of 168' 5" to round the top-six marks on the evening.  

Rose-Hulman will receive word on any NCAA Division III National Championship qualifiers on Sunday May 19 around 9 a.m.  The Championships take place May 23-25 in La Crosse, Wis.
