FRANKLIN, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team capped the 2019 regular season with a 6-3 victory at Franklin College on Sunday afternoon.
In singles play, Rose-Hulman relied on wins by Naomi Bhagat, Fanny-Jane Banda and Kyla Jarvis to win the top three singles flights. Emma Goodman added a win at No. 5 singles.
In doubles action, the teams of Bhagat and Jarvis won at the No. 1 position; and Banda joined Krista Manche for a win at No. 2 doubles.
The Fightin' Engineers finish the regular season 7-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play. Rose-Hulman has secured the No. 4 seed in the HCAC Tournament and will face Franklin College in round one of the event this Friday night at Top Seed Tennis Club in Kentucky.
