ANDERSON, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology continues to dominate their HCAC competition with a win over Anderson University 9-0. This marked the team's seventh straight win overall this season and is their 43rd consecutive victory against HCAC competition dating back to May 2014.
Rose-Hulman was able to take the early lead sweeping doubles competition 3-0. Joseph Conrad and Josh Giambattista were able to take the win in No. 1 singles 8-1. Jacob Pluta and Grant Stamper were also able to pick up a victory in No. 2 doubles 8-6. The No. 3 doubles team of Arudrra Krishnan and Mark Slaninka were also able to come away with the win 8-1.
Rose Hulman was able to continue their success in singles competition. Joseph Conrad picked up the win in No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-1 and Andre Adam was able to come away victorious in No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-1.
Other singles winners included Austin Perry in No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-1; Jacob Pluta in No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-1; Mark Slaninka in No. 5 singles 6-3, 6-1; and Arudrra Krishnan in No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0.
Rose-Hulman leads the HCAC at 4-0 in conference play and increased its season record to 8-9. The Fightin' Engineers will travel to face the Manchester Spartans on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
