Nathan Schrader Comes Home 20th at NCAA D-III Track & Field Nationals

GENEVA, Ohio -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Nathan Schrader came home 20th in the javelin throw at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the SPIRE Complex on Thursday afternoon.

Schrader recorded a throw of 169' 9" to earn a top-20 finish in his first appearance at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

Schrader is part of a Rose-Hulman men's track and field team that has won 21 consecutive HCAC Track and Field Team championships, with 12 straight titles outdoors and nine consecutive championships indoors.

The two-time all-region performer has recorded 12 point-scoring performances in HCAC championship events, including four second-place finishes.  His HCAC runner-up efforts have come in the javelin (2018 and 2019) and shot put (indoors and outdoors in 2019).
