NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. -- Transylvania University advanced to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis championship match with a 5-0 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at Top Seed Tennis Club on Saturday morning.

Transylvania improved to 6-1 on the season, while Rose-Hulman completes the fall campaign with a 3-6 record.  Wynne Aldrich held a second set at 3-2 at the time of match completion, and the No. 2 doubles team of Krista Manche and Ella Dorfmueller tallied three games to lead the Fightin' Engineer performance.

Rose-Hulman will add matches to its spring schedule in the coming months.
