NCAA MEN'S TENNIS PHOTO GALLERY
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 32 ranked Washington & Lee won two doubles matches and the first three singles matches to pick up a 5-1 victory over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament Round of 32 on Saturday in Tennessee.
The No. 1 doubles team of
Joseph Conrad and
Hart Howard led the Fightin' Engineers effort with an 8-6 victory. Washington & Lee picked up 8-5 and 8-3 wins in the remaining two doubles flights to take the match lead.
The nationally ranked squad won at three singles flights to secure the win and advance to the NCAA Division III Sweet Sixteen. Washington & Lee improved to 13-4 with the win.
Rose-Hulman completes a strong season with a 7-4 record and its sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Fightin' Engineers have a pair of NCAA wins during their tournament runs and have competed in every NCAA Division III men's tennis tournament since 2015.
