CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team opened the 2022 season with a 5-4 victory at Wabash College on Saturday afternoon.
Grant Paradowski led the Fightin' Engineers performance with victories in both singles and doubles play. Paradowski picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles and teamed with
Owen Reynolds for an 8-2 victory at the No. 3 doubles flight.
Other winners for Rose-Hulman included
Joshua Giambattista by a 1-6, 6-0, 10-8 margin in a third-set tiebreak;
Hart Howard by a 6-4, 3-6, 12-10 margin in a third-set tiebreak; and
Rhian Seneviratne with the match clinching point at No. 6 singles by a 6-2, 6-3 count.
The Fightin' Engineers stand 1-0 on the season and return to action next Saturday at the University of Southern Indiana.
