CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman opened the season on Saturday afternoon with a tri-meet at Wabash College with the Little Giants and the Millikin Big Blue.

Rose-Hulman fell 1-8 in the first match of the day to Millikin. Corey Pollard led the Rose-Hulman performance in the opener against Millikin, winning 6-1, 3-6, 10-5.  

In the second match of the day, the Fightin' Engineers came out strong with an 8-5 win at #2 doubles by Renato Prado and Rhian Seneviratne.

Seneviratne also picked up a win at #3 singles 6-3, 3-6, 10-6. Owen Reynolds fell in a third set tiebreaker in a competitive #1 singles match, 4-6, 6-4, 8-10.

Rose-Hulman returns to action on Saturday Feb. 18 with a matchup at Principia College.
