FLORIDA SPRING TRIP REMAINING SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, March 1 - vs. Albion - 12 pm
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology handed Calvin University its first loss of the 2023 men's tennis season, picking up a 6-3 victory on Tuesday in Florida.
The Fightin' Engineers captured two of three doubles matches to take an early 2-1 lead.  
Owen Reynolds and 
Rhian Seneviratne won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles, and 
Renato Prado and 
Jonathon Stadler won 8-7 (7-5) to put the Engineers in front.
Rose-Hulman won at the top four singles flights to cap the 6-3 win.  Reynolds won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1, and 
Grant Paradowski picked up a 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) win at No. 2 to open the singles scoring.
Rhian Seneviratne won a 3-set battle 6-4, 3-6, 11-9 at the No. 3 flight, and 
Renato Prado added a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles.
Rose-Hulman improved to 3-3 on the season, while Calvin dropped to 6-1.  The Fightin' Engineers complete their Florida spring trip against Albion on Wednesday at noon.
