TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology celebrated Senior Day for 4-year team member
Julia McGuire to highlight a narrow 5-4 loss to Trine University on Sunday at Brickway Tennis and Pickleball Club.
McGuire has won 20 career matches as a member of the Fightin' Engineer women's tennis program, including a key win at No. 3 doubles with
Ella Dorfmueller on Sunday against Trine.
Taylor Goldman and
Wynne Aldrich added a victory at No. 1 doubles, and also won in straight sets individually at the top two singles flights.
Rose-Hulman stands 7-10 on the season and returns to action on Tuesday with a match at NCAA Division IÂ IUPUI.
