MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology finishes in 10th place in a highly-talented field that includes 10 top-35 teams and five of the top ten teams in the country. The Fightin' Engineers took down a trio of top-50 teams including #29 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, #32 Berry, and #48 Rhodes.

Thomas Butler and Owen King led the team in round one with a +4 round of 76.

In the second round, it was Jamison Boykins and Luke Poole bouncing back from their 80+ first round scores to shoot 74 in the second round. Boykins and Poole both recorded one eagle in their second round including a hole-in-one by Boykins on the 160-yard par three 13th hole to finish his 36-hole day.

In round three, the Fightin' Engineers turned in their best round of the tournament with a 12-over 300. Owen King led the team with an even-par 72 with a pair of birdies. Luke Poole added a 1-over 73 that included three birdies.

The Fightin' Engineers will have one final tune-up meet at Millikin on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 before playing in the HCAC Conference Meet during the first week in May.
