DECATUR, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology finishes in 3rd place at the Millikin Invitational after an impressive day one showing of 289 (+1) and a 295 on Saturday. The Fightin' Engineers finished behind #15 Illinois Wesleyan and Parkland College.
Luke Poole brought home the tournament title with a 4-under score which breaks the 36-hole school record. Poole shot a 3-under 69 on Friday with another under-par round of 70 on Saturday.
Thomas Butler and
Owen King each brought home top-20 finishes with Butler in 12th with a +3 and King in 18th with a +4.
The Fightin' Engineers will compete in the HCAC Championships from May 5-7 at Hanover.
