Vineet Ranade Named CSCAA 1st-Team Scholar All-American

CSCAA SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Vineet Ranade has been named a CSCAA Individual 1st-Team Scholar All-American, announced by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of Ameria on Wednesday. 

Ranade earned All-American honors with a 16th-place finish in the 200 Freestyle at the NCAA National Championships. He also earned an invite to the NCAA Championship in the 200 IM in which he finished in 24th place.

The junior computer engineering major holds a 4.0 GPA through his junior year. The Mountain View, California native dominated the 2024 HCAC meet with six conference championships in the 200 IM, 200 Freestyle, 200 Breaststroke, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, and 800 Freestyle Relay. He also set three school records, three HCAC records, two VCAC facility records (the home of Indiana State swimming), and swam three B-Cut qualifying times for the NCAA.
